4Life is a Utah based MLM company that sells various supplements. Actually, there are a lot of MLM’s based in Utah, and this is mainly due to their regulatory tax laws, and it’s easy to start a business there.

This company began in 1998, which means it’s one of the most stable MLM’s out there.

The reputation of 4Life, as demonstrated by their ranking by at Better Business Bureau, on social media such as Facebook and YouTube and some various blogs means they offer a real opportunity for the right person.

You need first to be their distributor to be able actually to make money with the company’s MLM business.

As mentioned above, you’ll need to pay their membership kit for $25 (at the time of this review) to become a distributor.

This subscription fee covers the entire first year of your membership. You can then start selling their products and invite your family and friends to become a distributor.

Who Runs 4Life?

The owners of 4Life are husband and wife, David and Bianca Lisonbee. David Lisonbee has experience with supplement companies and founded another supplement company in the 1980s.

They focus mainly on health supplements, which mostly focus on our immune systems. They market their products through clients applying as a distributorship. We might describe the opportunity as “healthy and wealthy.”

They offer over one hundred different products, such as nutritional meal packs, protein products, and capsules, products for kids and teens.

4Life is now present in more than fifty countries worldwide and has an approximated turnover of up to five hundred million dollars every year.

What Are The Products Of 4Life?

Is 4Life Scam? Prodcuts

Let us now take a look at the products and their quality.

4Life’s leading team of researchers, experts, scientists, and doctors works to develop the best supplements to improve human immune systems.

In addition to the supplement for boosting the immune system, 4Life also offers everything from antioxidant drink to fiber supplements.

4Life states that they have a healthcare advisory board that guarantees that all their products have high quality and that it is effective.

Ultimately, the company did not provide any details on what goes into manufacturing or 4Life did not even discuss any research that they conducted.

It is unclear whether the research is done by some independent organizations or their own academic and doctoral staff performed the study.

The consumer reviews about the effectiveness of their products appear mostly positive, though. However, some consumers feel that their products are overpriced and no more effective than any similar products available on the market.

How Do You Make Money With 4Life?

Like I mentioned earlier, 4Life is an MLM based company, which means you can sign up for $25 and start selling products as distributors to get a commission from this company.

Also, you can get compensated for recruiting people and get a percentage of the overall sales from the people below you.

4Life Compensation Plan

This setup pays off to distributors who regularly sell large volumes of products, as there are requirements of a minimum sale per month.

If you drop below the minimum monthly selling thresholds, you will not get a sales commission.

However, if you increase your monthly sales, you become entitled to higher compensation levels.

The initial level of earning in 4Life to get a distributor commission is the Associate Level. At this level, you make two levels of commission for your compensation.

Your compensation will increase for up to ten levels as you move up. If you can sell more products, you can get a better rank.

A positive thing with MLM-companies like 4Life is that you can earn passive income from the business.

4Life’s Life point (LP)

Is 4Life Scam? life points

In order for you to earn commissions with 4Life, you need to sell products to other customers or purchase items for your personal use. All sales must have a minimum of 100 Life Point (LP).

Distributors Can Earn From Various Sources, Such As:

1. Profits from retail products that are sold to customers.

2. 4Life products sale commissions to preferred customers sponsored by them

3. 4Life product commissions by other distributors in their downline sales organizations.

4Life Income Disclosure Statement

Some review shows that you can still make a consistent profit on this MLM business, though it could be hard to reach the top performers.

But, most network marketing professionals fail because they do not know how to make money through this type of business model.

Have a look at 4Life’s income chart from October 1, 2018, through March 31, 2019, below.

Are There Any Lawsuits With This Company?

There is no such lawsuit with this company, but on November 1, 2004, the FDA warned the company to remove health claims on their products because creating such a thing that would classify their supplements as drugs.

Here is another snippet from the FDA’s statement dated in 2010:

The U.S. Food And Drug Administration

Is 4Life A Pyramiding Scheme?

The 4Life business model form is like a pyramid. The members who are on top of the pyramid are earning a higher income.

A lot of people probably think that 4Life is a pyramiding scheme. That’s not the case here, though. Multi-Level Marketing companies use a pyramid structure, but not all MLM-companies are doing pyramiding schemes.

Illegal pyramid schemes do not provide any valuable products, and they simply focus on recruiting. Legit Multi-Level Marketing companies, on the other hand, provide actual products that distributors can offer to their customers.

However, there is still a big focus on recruiting, and that is one of the reasons why MLM is a controversial business model.

4Life Reviews and Complaints

4Life is BBB accredited since 2014 with A+ Rating.

In Glassdoor, 4Life got 3.4 ratings from 51 reviews of their current and former employees, and 72% of them recommend it to their friend.

In the website, 4Life got 4.7 ratings from 12 user reviews, and it has a 7.2 overall rating score.

Is 4Life a scam? In my opinion, 4Life is not a scam. It is certainly possible for a person with sufficient determination and dedication to working hard to achieve great success with high-quality health and wellness products.

4Life remains recommended as a viable option for someone who is looking for a great work from home lifestyle with the chance to make a high income.

It is a legitimate money-making business for someone willing to learn new skills, motivate others to succeed, and a lot of work hard recruiting and training your downlines.

  • Low registration fee – the basic membership registration fee is $25.
  • More than 20 years in Business – 4Life is a well-established and active company since 1998.
  • A lot of positive testimonials – there are many online testimonials from members who have long-term success with the company, and payment is always on time. That helps to confirm the perception that 4life is a legit company.
  • Positive product review – their products offered usually receive positive reviews.
  • 4Life employ their own scientists and doctors to guarantee that they deliver high-quality products. This info is always useful as a sales point.
  • Growing Company – even after twenty-plus years of operation, the company still continuously grows.
  • Online coaching – the company offers online coaching for its distributors, which can be a powerful motivator and an effective way to train their new distributors.
  • Health and wellness is still a growing industry.

  • The commission is low – 4Life offers a commission rate of only two percent, unlike other multi-level marketing companies in the health and nutrition industry. It’s difficult to see where distributors can make a profit.
  • FDA issues
  • You need to exert a lot of time and effort- some people see it as a “get rich quick” scheme, which is incorrect. Making a success of this opportunity will take dedication and a lot of hard work.
  • You must know, or at least learn, how to build a business. There are no shortcuts.
  • 4Life is not for everyone – if you are weak at recruitment, you would probably fail. Recruiting a team of distributors and make them successful is always the key to making money with 4Life.
  • A strategy of ‘ friends and family ‘ might not always work for sales and recruit. It may be a pretty good start, but you need to learn the skills to use other methods quickly.

As we have discussed, there are various pros and cons of becoming a distributor for 4Life. You certainly need to apply a well thought out business strategy and be willing to put in plenty of time and effort to be successful.

However, it is indeed possible for a person with sufficient determination and dedication to strive hard to achieve great success with these high-quality health and wellness products.
