It was built to provide a broad category of services for every buyers’ digital needs.

Fiverr actually started with a minimum of $5 for every service, but today they have made it cheaper, offering a minimum of $3.

Here a list that you can find inside Fiverr. Like SEO, Graphic Design, Video Animation, Online Marketing, Programming, and many more. You can see some categories below of what Fiverr has to offer.

Freelancers can provide you services that will allow you to go faster, and often, the entry price is lower than what you can usually find on the market.

If you are a business owner or an individual who wants to buy services through Fiverr, you can also create an account and find the services that you need, contact the Freelancer before making your purchase.

Here the price depends on the services that you need. You can view it once you click the gig posted by the Freelancer.

So, what is a gig?

How To Use Fiverr For Buyers

• If you are a buyer and you need a freelancer to do a digital job for you. You need to go to their official website: 
• The first thing you need to do is to Sign Up – you can enter your email, or you can log in using your Facebook or Google account. This process only takes less than five minutes. 
• Once you already have your account verified, you can now log in to your Fiverr account and start searching for the services that you need.  
• Then you need to Filter the services depending on your budget, your required delivery time, etc. For example, you choose the Graphic Design from the Category, and you select the Logo Design. It will show you a result, and you have the option to filter it. I pasted a screenshot below as your reference.

The filter option or what they call refine results is shown on the left corner of the page. 

• You can also right away type your keyword in their search bar, once you click on the search button it will give you the result for you to find the seller that would best fit your needs. 

• You can now choose the best freelancer for the job. There are still a lot more results here, so choose someone who can provide you a good service. You need to check their profile, have a look at their reviews, and what are the services that they provide. 

• Note that if you wanted to hire a popular seller who has a lot of good positive reviews, then you will need to wait for them on when they can do the work for you. It is because those sellers/freelancers are already famous and that they always have a lot of buyers in the queue. 
  
  And you can see here that for this popular seller or what they call top-rated seller on Fiverr, he still has 21 orders in the queue. So, you have to check the details on sellers gigs before placing your order. This will help you, especially if you are in a rush for some projects. 

There is an option that you can click if you wanted to add the seller as your favorite or add them to your list.

The Basic, Standard, and Premium Package, where they would list down the amount, the delivery date, number of revisions, and more details depending on the service of what the Freelancer is selling. 

Once you find your seller, you can now contact them to finalize the project. 

How To Use Fiverr For Sellers Or Freelancers

• If you want to be a Freelancer in Fiverr, then you can make an account and start creating your gig and sell your service.
• The first step for aspiring Freelancers is to create an account. You can go to their website and register with your email or log in with your Facebook or Gmail Account.
• Once you are already logged in, you can click on Become a Seller button on the top right corner of the Page.

• You can now start creating your gig, depending on the service that you can offer. You have to be creative. You can try to get ideas from many different categories of Fiverr. 
• Fiverr will notify you if you have new messages or for any order.
• After providing the service to your satisfied buyers, Fiverr will transfer the payment to your account, and you can cash out your earning to your PayPal Account.

Note: that you have to follow Fiverr’s terms and conditions so that your account will not get suspended.

In my own point of view Fiverr is not a scam. It is a legit platform that helps a lot of sellers/freelancers and buyers. The company was launched in 2010, and it is still continuously growing with hundreds of thousands of freelancers / Sellers and getting thousands of buyers every day, hosting millions of gigs every year.

You may see some complaints online, but there is also a lot of positive feedback on Fiverr. Also, when you visit their website, you can see that a lot of buyers do give good reviews to the seller.

If you are an expert on your chosen niche and you want to get an extra income, you can try to register and start selling.

If you are also a business owner and you need to hire someone to do a virtual job then you can also purchase it here at a lower price rather than hiring someone in your local area pay at a higher rate. 

Pros

• You can work for many various projects
• You don’t have to spend time a lot of searching and bidding for projects that won’t work.
• Extra Income, and you will get paid through your PayPal account. 
• Easy to Use Website. Fiverr platform is quite easy, and in just a couple of minutes, you can become an expert in finding what you need.

Cons

• It is not easy to make consistent Income. This platform is a project base, and you only get to earn if someone wants to buy your service.
• As a seller or freelancer, you will have a lot of competition, especially if you are still starting up. It won’t be easy for you to get a gig. You have to invest more time and be creative so that you can get the attention of the buyers.

However, we already know that your earning will depend on how many customers will want to buy your services.

You need to have more gigs and more positive reviews before you can increase your price and earn more.
